The weather in January when I designed this is not my favourite. I long for blue skies and sunshine and instead get grey and chill. So this was my attempt to bring lots of colour and sunshine into my life and hopefully yours.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a fuller version of my 12 ray Rainbow Sun. Same design but then I've added an outer ring of 12 smaller rays and made it into a more substantial place with more colour.
Hopefully it will cause the sun to always shine just when you need it to.
The sun has 12 inner rays cut from all the colours of the rainbow and an outer ring in other shades of the rainvow colours. I've used 12 different types and colours of glass, 4 times round the rainbow, so it is very colourful.
In the centre I've soldered a really big chandelier crystal, 3cm in diameter and it gives such a wonderful sparkle to the centre of this piece which will catch the sun beautifully.
This suncatcher will cast a splash of brightness on the dullest of days.
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached by solder to the top of the Sun with a little ring to hang it.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
This piece is approximately 13cm in diameter.
