I usually burn wooden jewellery pieces, but sometimes like to create larger designs on boxes and more practical items. Sometimes I buy small batches of boxes, and other times I like to reuse and repurpose boxes and give them a new life!

Full description
A toadstool dragon box, created using pyrography. This dragon duo, are sharing a toadstool snack, both sporting warm autumnal shades.
Hand burned and coloured using art pencils.
-Oval wooden box, with some rustic tool markings.
-This is by no means a perfect box. I tend to rescue unloved pieces and upcycle them. There may be areas of glue and uneven stain.
-Measures: 8 x 15 x 5.5cm
-Brass coloured hinges and clasp.
-Stained, sanded and varnished.
-Rubber bumpers to base
-Lined with felt.

Every item I create is my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material, and each piece has its own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. Wood and pyrography weathers over time. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it. To care for your piece; keep out of direct strong sun, and damp conditions
I post once a week, using my local post office. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Postage within the UK only.
