Opal is the birthstone for Libra and October under the modern birthstone chart, created by the American National Association of Jewellers in 1912.
Jasper is the mystical birthstone for October.
Mystical birthstones have been around for over a thousand years, and are thought to be of Tibetan origin.
Rose Quartz is the stone for Venus, Goddess of Love and the planetary ruler for Libra.

Full description
This striking, pink-and-grey necklace is made from 8mm and 6mm Pink Zebra Jasper and 6mm Pink Opal beads, embellished with 7mm Tibetan gold flowers (lead and nickel free) and 3mm gold vermeil rounds.
The larger Pink Zebra Jasper are separated by tiny, 2.5mm, faceted Rose Quartz, which I have also used to highlight the gold beads.
Pink Zebra Jasper has a pale pink base, overlaid to varying degrees by light and dark grey patches.
The Pink Opal beads are a light salmon-pink colour.
The necklace finishes with a trio of 4mm Rose Quartz rounds and a Tibetan heart toggle clasp with an antique gold finish.
The clasp is nickel and lead free.
This one-of-a-kind necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
The price includes delivery within the UK.
