A printed card from an original linoprint. This is a favourite walk of ours along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. A short drive to Marsden, then a lovely walk along the canal to Slaithwaite (Slawit) taking in some great scenery and a chance to pick som blackberries on the way back in September. It is one of a series of planned canal prints I intend to make.

Full description
A6 (148 x 105mm) greetings card printed from an original linoprint. Huddersfield Narrow Canal runs through the Pennines from Huddersfield to Portland Basin in Ashton-under-Lyne, a distance of 20 miles. This doesn't sound a great distance, but this canal is the highest in Britain and also contains Britain's longest and deepest tunnel at 5,700 yards and includes 74 locks along it's length.
The cards are printed on 280gm Aquerello.
