Full description
Carefully stitched quilting lines add the texture of natural looking woodgrain to this 100% cotton, patchwork table runner. The subtle fabric prints in shades of grey and cream are brought to life by random pops of navy and mustard. Using these little patches of deep colour as the knots in the wood I’ve stitched a woodgrain pattern in various thread colours curving gently around the ‘knots’ and down the length of the runner.
The table runner is backed with unbleached calico and has a layer of Hobbs 80/20 wadding that adds depth and warmth to it’s feel and appearance. The edges are bound with a double layer of navy blue cotton fabric coloured with mustard, grey and dusky pink.
Measuring 63” x 8.5” (159cm x 21cm) this table runner would make an elegant but informal addition to a dining table, side table or coffee table. It could also be used to ‘dress’ a chair or sofa.
To wash use a gentle machine cycle.
