A had a space on my own wall which was crying out for a floral decoration. So I designed and made the first of these. Loved it so much I made another for my shop here.
The last photo is of my own now in place with the felted hare and bluetit .

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher, hanging made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I've made a flowring plant. Bright green leaves at the bottom and three pastel 6 petal flowers growing out of the stem, at the top. The flowers are pastel shades, one is pink and the other two iridescent turquose with a pink glimmer and teal so super shimmery.
At the centre of each flower is a little dichroic glass nugget, all different , which I fused in my kiln and they give an extra special shine to the flowers.
The flowers and leaves are firmly attached to each other and the stem. I have strengthened the stem with twisted wire to prevent a weak point and added a little yellow ladybird to further support the stem.
It hangs from a silvery little chain which is securely fastened to the top with two soldered wire rings.
This looks simply stunning hanging against the wall which is what I designed it and would make a lovely ornament for any room.
It also looks rather lovely in the window but the flowers are opaque glass so the light doesn't shine through them.
It is approximately 21cm hign and 18cm wide excluding the hanging chain.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
I can of course make this in other colour combinations. If you prefer different colours please send me a note and I will make one for you to your choice of colour scheme.
