I am exploring new directions in textile art, among them optical illusion designs which give a three-dimensional effect or otherwise intrigue the eye. This is a traditional example of that.

Full description
This piece has a fabric casing on the back through which a slim rod can be inserted, allowing it to be wall-hung, or it can be used as a table cover. I would suggest a net curtain rod or one made specifically for wall hangings.
Size: approx. 88 cm square
Fabrics: Front and back - all 100% cotton
Internal wadding: 80% cotton / 20% polyester.
This is a very traditional design and formed the centre of a larger quilt kit designed by Pam and Nicky Lintott of The Quilt Room. I particularly liked this section and decided to complete the piece at that stage rather than making the whole quilt. The subtle colours are lovely.
Care: hand or machine wash at 30 deg, spin dry at 800 rpm. Dry flat or supported over something wide like a bannister rail, easing into shape if necessary. Please do not tumble dry or iron.
Allergy advice: we do have two dogs in the house. This piece has been washed and is stored in a lidded box.
