Full description
A 2-colour hand-printed linocut print entitled 'The Diamond'.
This is a print of a building in Sheffield, part of the University Of Sheffield, where the Faculty Of Engineering is based. It is a pretty crazy looking building, and certainly was a challenge to work on!
I was commissioned to make this print as an edition by the university a few years ago. None of the original prints have ever been on sale. However I discovered seven 'artist's proofs' recently, so thought I'd put them up for sale. These artist's proof looks exactly the same as the main edition, but they are noted 'A.P.' instead of a number.
Blue and dark grey inks on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. The original edition was 100.
The print image measures H15xW10cm.
The paper measures H30xW21cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
