Full description
A 2-colour hand-printed linocut/screen-print entitled 'Haworth'.
This is a print of a small village of Haworth in West Yorkshire. It is in the Pennines, just ten miles from Bradford, and famously the home of the Brontë sisters, who all lived there and wrote most of their books there whilst their father was parson of the local church! It is a beautiful place, the landscapes clearly evocative of their famous literature. My print is looking down Main Street in the centre, down the cobbled road, past the shops, cafes and houses, with the hills in the background.
Dark green and light blue System 3 inks on off-white 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 80, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H15xW10cm.
The paper measures H30xW21cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
