Surfite is a gorgeous upcycled material made from the run off from glassing surfboards. No piece is ever the same and it has a lovely summer vibe about it. This piece of surfite came from sunny California, USA - it was cut and polished in South Wales and became a piece of jewellery on my jeweller's bench in Somerset.

A delicious piece of surfite (a by product of the surfboard industry) set onto upcycled silver and strung on a delicate silver chain - what's not to love?! The pendant is approx 2.3cm long and features a lovely clear, amber, red, black and blue stripe. It has been left open at the back so the light can shine through when it is dangling!
