This little lion painting is inspired by Lviv - a city in western Ukraine known as the city of lions. The city was originally named after King Danylo's son Lev, which means lion in Ukrainian. These days statues and images of lions can be seen all around Lviv.
The lion also seems to be the perfect animal to symbolise the courage and strength that Ukrainians are showing the world.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
A cute cartoon lion with a large mane is sat against a background of turquoisey blue and yellow, like the Ukrainian flag. The lion symbolises the courage and strength of Ukrainians.
This little lion art is painted in acrylics on a mini 7.5cm (3") square canvas and is signed and dated on the back.
The original lion canvas will either come with a 12cm (4.7") wooden easel for display, or will be strung with a ribbon in a colour that matches the painting so it can be hung on a wall (as in the final photo). Just choose with easel or ribbon hanging when you buy.
If sold, 50% of the item price of this painting will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.
