I have taken the last few months off from woodturning to concentrate on my botanical water colour work a few examples of which you can view on my Instagram account. However, I have picked up the chisels again and will be adding new items and old favourites. The latest additions are two attractive sycamore drinks trays but more items to come.
I like to introduce more interest into my work and combing materials is one way in which I can endeavour to achieve this.

Full description
A small lidded potpourri pot. The pot has been turned in walnut and the removable pewter lid has a delicate bird motif. The inside of the pot has been burnished and waxed. The external finish is a hard wearing lacquer.
