The nature of pyrography is that sometimes depending on the nature of the wood or the heat of the pyrography pen the desing can look different as the etching becomes darker or more indented in the wood. Depending on the coulour of the burn, the design can look different, despite the overall pattern being the same.
I guess as human beings, despite all being of the same species, depending on our life expereince if we appear to be the same yet different, even if we are raised by the same parents, or attend the same expereinces.
Same but different, each unique in its own way.

Full description
This wooden pendant is one of a series of pendants that sport geometrical shapes.
The idea behind these items are the sacred geometry that we can find across the ages in caves and other ancient art pieces. The geometrical shapes are a symbol of the world we live in.
Each pendant set carries a specific geometry, inspired by my trip to Egypt, where we completed a series of activities in each of the temples along the Nile.
This particular pendant with the circle in the middle and 6 other circles connecting, represents in my view the inter planetary connection we observed when we visited the Temple of Hathor in Dendara. The Earth is a central figure for this piece, whilst the other celestial bodies connect to it through an invisible tether.
The motif was embeded in the wooden blank using a pyrography pen, making the motif permanent.
The wood is not treated, and stil retains that earthy scent of the forest.
The pendant will come with a leather lanyard, ready to be worn.
The medalion is 3 cm in size and the faux leather lanyard is 67cm long.
