This painting is inspired by Ukraine. The blue and yellow background as the Ukrainian flag - a blue sky over yellow wheat fields. Red poppies grow in the field, to remember those that have been lost. The storks are building their nest in this countryside scene, on a platform that Ukrainians build specifically for the storks, because for Ukrainians it is good luck for storks to nest on their land, and is seen as a symbol of peace and prosperity for the land that has been chosen.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A small canvas painting of a Ukrainian landscape. A clear blue sky is above a field of yellow wheat, similar to the Ukrainian flag. Red poppies are spread throughout the crops, and within the field is a pillar with a stork nest on top. One stork is stood in the nest, with the silhouette of another flying through the blue sky.
This original Ukrainian countryside scene is painted in acrylics on a small 12.5cm x 18cm (5" x 7") canvas, The image carries on over the edge of the canvas so there is no need for framing, and a string is attached to the back of the canvas so it is ready to hang.
If sold, 50% of the item price of this painting will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.
