Full description
This contemporary brooch has been designed and handmade by us, in our workshop in Yorkshire. It is made from sterling silver, it is flat in shape, measures 45mm in diameter and features a 10mm Baltic Amber stone, a '925' sterling silver mark and our maker's initials 'J D F' have been stamped into the silver on the back of the brooch. We wanted to use the lovely lyrics from the 1940s song, 'You are my sunshine', in an abstract way so that the lyrics weren't too obvious. The brooch reads, 'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine'.
We offer a choice of 10mm gemstones: Aqua Chalcedony, Garnet, Amber, Turquoise, Amethyst, Blue Chalcedony, White Moonstone and lab. grown gemstones, Blue Opal triplet and Peridot Quartz.
This contemporary brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and comes in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the UK, as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and website. We also feature on the U.K. Crafts Council directory of makers.
