This is the one of a number of high-quality fountain pens I have made. These pens are a pleasure to write with and I use one every day. Once the nib adapts to your style of writing they are very smooth. Pen nibs are made to suit a right-handed person, so if you are a lefty like me, it can take a little longer for the nib to settle in.

Full description
Hand turned fountain pen. Wood is spalted Beech which has fantastic colouring and grain and gives the pen added interest. The wood is finished with at least four coats of Melamine lacquer to give a hardwearing finish. The lacquer finish leaves the pen with an almost natural feel to it, some finishes such as CA take away the tactile feel of the wood and make it too smooth and shiny, in my view the lacquer give a good balance of protection and feel of the wood. Finials are rose gold and the pen comes with two international cartridges to start you off as well a convertor if you prefer using bottled ink. It is supplied in black velvet finish box. The nib is a medium fine, like all fountain pens it will take a little while for the nib to adapt to your particular style of writing
