This piece started with a big black button given to me by a neighbour - that I added an unwanted earing and broken bracelets to.
In Victorian times yellow poppies symbolised wealth and successes, a more modern meaning sites renewal, optimism, and looking on the bright side - something we can all use!

Full description
A striking yellow and gold poppy flower mixed media 3D collage made with fabric remnants and unwanted jewellery, on a dark teal background.
Inspired by the large felt button that I edged with a broken plastic bracelet, adding beads, silks and leather.
The aim is to produce something beautiful out of bits and bobs and remnants, putting them to good use rather than sending them to landfill.
Measurements: Frame is 8" x 8" - Collage 6" x 6"
Quality white acrylic box frame with genuine glass that can be hung or free-standing. Comes boxed for easy gift wrapping and safe delivery.
