This was inspired by giant sheets of ice in angular shapes, that were around the shore of Loch Leven in early Winter of 2010. The sheets of ice overlapped each other much like the pieces of card in the picture, a really unusual and beautiful sight.

Ice 3 is an original mixed media/oil painting on canvas with painted sides. I created this piece by building up the canvas surface with layers of card covered in mixed media and then over-painting it all with oil paint. The mixed media layer includes foils, fabric, oil pastel, and various types of paper.
The size of this painting is 30 X 40cm with a depth of 3.5cm.
It will be well packaged in bubble wrap and cardboard and sent in the UK by Royal Mail.
