Welcome to my shop

My shop will be open for a festive shopping weekend this Winter on 7th & 8th December 24

Please come and join my mailing list to receive an invitation to a special preview evening for this shopping weekend. Simply click message shop and I can add you : ) or you can visit https://lornagilbert.co.uk/ to sign up.

All orders will come wrapped in decorative tissue paper and raffia ribbon ready to gift. I send my parcels out in plastic free and reusable packaging ( . . . I occasionally reuse packaging too)

Inspired by the Yorkshire country side and childhood memories of the wild mountains and oceans of the West Coast of Scotland, I make stoneware pots for people seeking space and calm. Pots to be held, used and enjoyed. Pots that are tactile and well proportioned, designed to fit perfectly in your hands.

Everything here is made by me in my studio in Yorkshire under the watchful eye of our 7 year old dog Lola.

If you've got any questions please get in touch.

Best wishes

Sunshine & Smiles is a charity very close to our families heart as it gives huge amounts of love and support to families like ours throughout the Leeds area. A core belief of the charity is that all groups, training and 1:1 sessions are free at point of contact to make it accessible to all. Fundraising is a key part of how the charity can continue to run all of it's services.
I started The Great Charity Pot & Print Fair in 2020 as I could see the increasing demands on their resources and thought other makers would like to get involved. This year we have 150 makers supporting 100 charities!!

Full description

This swift sculpture is part of my offering for The Great Charity Pot & Print Fair taking place on 5th & 6th March 2022.

They are made form white stoneware clay and oak and stand beautifully on a mantlepiece. 75% from each sale will go directly to Sunshine & Smiles Leeds Down Syndrome Network. They would make a very special Mothers' day present or a present for a loved one.

I've made some which are blue and white and some that are pale green.

I can't promise but please let me know which colour you'd prefer.
