I take my inspiration for each piece from the stone itself and very rarely plan a design, I just let the wire decide where it wants to go.

I have wrapped and woven this beautiful stone in layers of sterling and fine silver wire to make this stunning pendant.
The thicker wires are sterling silver and the weaving wire is fine silver which is 99% pure.
Once complete I have oxidised it to age the silver and bring out the detail in the weave, then hand polished it to give it this lovely antique finish.
It measures approximately 16 mm (5/8 inch) at it's widest point, 58 mm (2 1/4 inches) to the top of the bail and hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain with a handmade clasp which I have oxidised and polished to match.

Any tarnishing which occurs over time can be gently removed with a silver polishing cloth.
