I have wire wrapped around this stunning faceted amethyst using sterling and fine silver wire to make this lovely pendant.
The thicker wires are sterling silver and the weaving wire is fine silver which is 99% pure.
After completing the pendant I have oxidised it to age the silver then hand polished it to give it this lovely antique finish.
It measures approximately 17 mm (11/16 inch) at it's widest point, 52 mm (2 1/16 inch) to the top of the bail and hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain with a handmade clasp which I have oxidised and polished to match.

Any tarnishing which occurs over time can be gently removed with a silver polishing cloth.
