Living in rural Lincolnshire I have always been inspired by our beautiful natural surroundings and the wildlife that lives alongside us. Some of my favourite memories are of riverside walks with my family, hoping to catch a glimpse of a kingfisher.

Splish Splash! Here is a set of 8 unique hand-painted nesting Russian dolls. Each piece is a mini work of art, lovingly painted in detail with Windsor and Newton acrylic paint. The finished pieces have been given at least two coats of acrylic satin varnish to protect them from damage.
‘All along the River’ depicts creatures which typically inhabit the areas around ponds and rivers in the UK.
The largest piece measuring approximately 22 cms tall by 10cms wide is a river otter, emerging from the water.
Inside the otter is a crested grebe, measuring approximately 16cms tall by 8cms wide. The grebe is signed on the base by the artist.
Inside the grebe is a water vole, measuring approximately 12cms tall by 6cms wide.
Inside the water vole is a kingfisher, measuring 9cms tall by approximately 4.5cms wide.
Inside the kingfisher is a common frog, measuring approximately 6.5cms tall by 3cms wide.
Inside the frog is a crested newt measuring approximately 4cms tall by 2cms wide.
Inside the newt is a water snail measuring approximately 2.5cms tall by 1cm wide.
Inside the snail is a pond skipper measuring 1.5cms tall by 0.5cm wide.
