I AM UPDATING PRODUCT BOXES FOR JEWELLERY AND DECORATIONS WHICH WILL TAKE AWHILE, IF YOU PURCHASE YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ORDER IN THE NEW BOXES AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
I love collecting things that have been discarded, lost, forgotten, damaged or just not wanted any more. My favourite places are rivers and beaches, but also find great things at recycling centres and charity shops. I’m lucky to live near the River Tees, Co Durham and often walk the banks picking up broken glass, pottery anything that can be cleaned and re-created into something new. Bits and bobs of lives all waiting to find new homes.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Additional terms
Hand crafted Jewellery and framed artworks using pre loved and discarded ceramics. Ceramic material will show signs of wear and damage. Entire process is a creative experience from discovery to final picture, nothing planned or preconceived. All materials personally collected from river banks, charity shops, roadside, woods, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each titled piece comes with bio of where the ceramic came from, known history, original information and when the artwork was created. Some ceramics collected are used as found, while others are cut randomly which will shape the final picture. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Created from ceramic discovered in
charity Shop Barnard Castle January 2022
Re-Created into Earrings January 2022
I found a few interesting pieces of ceramic in a charity shop, Barnard Castle. Some were rescue plates, cracked or badly damaged, others were stand out pieces, slightly damaged and sitting on a top shelf 6 small side plates, reduced to clear and perfect for a new project.
These earrings are made from one of those small side plates, striking blue, green, black design. I gently clipped the ceramic with tile cutters to create random pieces. Several shards broke and shattered which let me know it might be difficult to create anything from the plates. With this in mind I managed to clip more pieces and drill holes in random plates to allow for shattering. Two shards formed small, attractive in shape and pattern, perfect for earrings. The sides are sanded and sealed, similar in shape, design and size but completely individual. The colours have chipped during process which gives these a striking affect and reflects that these earrings were once a small side plate full of history.
Delivered in recycled packaging and includes gift box and short bio.
