Full description
These lilac and red enamel earrings have been handmade from rectangles of copper sheet, which I've enamelled in a striking mix of bright red and pale purple. They are enamelled in plain black on the backs and hang from sterling silver ear wires. I've added some little amethyst gemstone beads to the bottoms of the earrings, the pretty colour of these nicely echoes the lilac enamel and adds a lovely bit of movement to the earrings.
The long enamel earrings would make a great gift for any fan of bright colourful jewellery!
Size: 5.5cm from the top of the ear wires. They are light and comfortable to wear.
Rectangle size: 3.5cm x 1cm
The enamel coating is powdered glass which has been fired to form a permanent coating on the metal. It is very durable and under normal use will not come off. If the earrings are bent or trodden on then the enamel may crack.
