All my cards are now available as single items.
All my drawings and prints are original hand made items and not reproduced as giclee prints.

In the middle of lockdown last year, I returned to thinking about my former home in the South West of England. I used to regularly walk the chalk hills of the Salisbury Plain, sketchbook under my arm. In a nostalgic mood, I decided to try to recapture the senses, impressions, and feelings of these walks. A poem came first, and then I decided to contrast and link the separate verses to individual lino cuts, making a set of four images to represent the four main stages of the this long-time favourite haunt.

The wind that was a whisper
Becomes a roar in my ears.
Dragons on the air, twisting & turning,
Echoing the white tracks
Which snake across the downs,
Chasing clouds with dark wings of shadow.
