Whenever I get a chance to visit a seaside I usually end up collecting seashells and stones to bring them back to my workshop. I absolutely love beachcombing and can easily spend hours happily doing so. My workshop is full of stones, shells and driftwood and I've been wanting to design a whole jewellery collection around all this treasure for a while. This is one of the first pieces I've made. I hope you like it!

However I am aware that when purchasing such items it is sometimes difficult to achieve a perfect fit, particularly when personal fitting isn’t possible or when a gift is a surprise. Full description
Fit for a queen! This stunning brooch has been inspired by my beachcombing trips to Cornwall. A beautiful tear shaped mabé pearl hangs off a delicately detailed sea shell. Hand pierced seaweed shaped prongs hold the pearl in place and a secret seaweed decoration adorns the back of the setting. It took 18 hours to create this piece. Entirely handmade from start to finish, this brooch is totally unique.
The brooch secures in place with a pin and a round badge back featuring wing back release mechanism. It can be worn pinned to the lapel of your jacket, or to your jumper or scarf.
The metal used is recycled sterling silver 925. The brooch measures approx 3.5cm top to bottom x 1.7cm wide. The pearl itself measures 18 x 13mm.
