Full description
A hand woven cowl in bright multi colours with a hand stitched, cheery floral embroidery design. The soft, woven cloth is a beautiful array of colour with a hand dyed multi coloured yarn with neps throughout for the weft and stripes of grey and coral in the warp. The grey yarn in the warp allows the beauty of the hand dyed yarn to shine through. The cloth has a soft handle and wonderful drape making the finished cowl a joy to wear. The cowl is long enough to wrap around the neck for a cosy and warm barrier in the cooler months. The embroidered flowers are hand stitched in pink, white and orange onto grey essex linen in a random scatter, like flowers in a flower bed. This design is then wrapped around the cowl.
The fibres used in the weave are wool, merino and alpaca. The scarf would make a lovely gift for someone special or why not treat yourself this winter?
Measures approx. 28 x 120 cm
I recommend hand washing
