Thanks for visiting our shop. You will find a variety of household items and gifts here, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

I am constantly on the look out for better ways of doing things so that we reduce the impact we have on the environment. I have been experitmenting, making different products, and finding what works well.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Cheer up the Christmas washing up with some seasonal equipment! This set consists of a handmade jute scourer paired with a coordinating, seasonal washing up pad. The pad is our own design, made from bamboo wadding encased in attractive cotton fabric and hessian. This combination should be able to tackle all your pots and pans. The washing up pad gives an absorbent, soft surface for general crockery and cutlery. The hessian reverse will deal with more stubborn food residues. The tough, rough scourer takes the most difficult washing up in its stride whilst being gentle on non-stick pans. Both items are also great for general cleaning of the kitchen or bathroom - get a set for each room!
These products are made entirely from natural materials. With no plastics being released into the water, they will help you take a small step away from negative impacts on the environment, whilst still keeping your home spick and span.
The scourer measures approximately 13cm each way. The washing up pad measures approximately 8 x 11 cm. This selection are particularly for Christmas but we have other colours available in the Clean Home section of our shop.
Care for these products by rinsing well after each use and allowing to air dry. If necessary, pop them in the washing machine with similar coloured laundry. At the end of their useful life they can be cut up and put in your compost heap or garden waste bin.
