Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

I based this reduction linocut print on photo's I took during a visit to the wonderful Westonbirt National Arboretum during the month of October. I pressed the print in 7 pressings. My attempt to capture a little of that autumn wonder.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This original linocut print brings a little autumn colour into your home, office, or anywhere you would like a relaxing, colourful work of art. It shows a beautiful Japanese Maple tree in its autumn glory.
This limited edition print has been hand pressed at home using the back of a spoon, a bamboo baren and my hand.
This is the 2nd in an edition of 8 prints. As this is a reduction linocut print there will be no other prints made from this plate, which was destroyed during the printing process.
This artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Winsor & Newton Smooth Grain Drawing Paper 220gsm.
The print measures approx 6 x 4 inches and the paper is hand cut to approx A5 (landscape orientation).
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will provide a small Certificate of Authenticity with the print. The print will come wrapped in cellophane and tissue paper.
I will mail the print out to you in a cellophane packet with a small signed Certificate of Authenticity.
I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas.
