UNIQUE: Handmade 'Lolli-Pop' Picture.
'A joy to eat'
Gallery price: £43.00, from me: £32.00.
'Lolli-Pop' is made completely from glass which has been fused in my kiln. There is no enamel, glass paint or any other materials used, this picture is 100% pure bullseye fusing glass!
'Lolli-Pop' started as a sheet of transparent bullseye glass. I then added the details by using a combination of glass stringers, frit glass and glass powder. To give it a little touch of sparkle I then added tiny bits of metallic dichroic glass onto some of the lolli-pop segments.
The final stage of creating my glass picture was the firing. 'Lolli-Pop' was placed in my kiln and fired over night. To successfully fuse all the elements of this picture it was fired to 1400 F.
Frame: 17.3cm x 22.5cm square x 3cm depth.
Picture: 15cm x 10cm x 6mm thickness (100% glass).
'Lolli-Pop' is designed to catch the light and will pick up the light either hanging on the wall or on a shelf.
