A unique hand embroidered sewing gift set, a boxed pincushion gift set for the crafter designed by Bearlescent
This listing is for a unique hand embroidered gift set containing a 4" cupcake style pincushion with quality goldwork embroidery scissors and a colour co-ordinated hand embroidered scissor keep, housed in a striped gift box.
The pincushion was hand sewn onto natural silk noil fabric, an Autumn colourway of flowers, stems and leaves have been hand embroidered to the pincushion top. The scissor keep was created using needlepoint stitches onto 18count canvas in colours and threads to match the pincushion. Included is a pair of quality goldwork stork scissors from Carolyn Gayton designs, wrapped in gold tissue paper they will arrive in a purchased striped box in Autumn shades as shown in the pictures.
The pincushion has been filled very firmly with super polyester filling, a cotton form was made then the embroidered silk complete with a cotton backing was laced over the form as tightly as possible to minimise creasing around the gathered fabric, 3 layers of fabric to ensure a long life.
Fitted to a 4" natural beech wooden bowl then decorated with crochet lace and a satin rolled ribbon tied into a small bow.
Made for the crafter, someone who loves to sew, a beautiful unique keepsake gift for someone special.
This will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class parcel post and will require a signature upon delivery.
