Hi and thank you for popping by my shop today. I post within the UK and now to the USA too. Apologies but packaging laws have curtailed my selling to Europe.

My son gave me this empty whisky bottle and said hey Mum this is a great shape I'm sure you could make something from it. So I rose to the challenge and made this Christmassy/bonfire feel lamp.

Full description
This string light lamp has been made using an up-cycled whisky bottle.
I have painted the flame design using paint outliners and then I have dripped drops of transparent glass paint one by one into the spaces. This way of painting takes some time to complete as I have to allow each section to dry before rotating the bottle to the next space. The lamp is finished off with an orange ribbon. I like to think that it looks like a melting candle or a bonfire burning bright..it also has a Christmas table decoration look about it.
The lamp is powered by bright white string lights which use an ordinary AA battery - a little tip here - use old batteries which have been in your camera or other battery operated items as there is usually enough strength left to power string lights!!
Leave this lamp in your brightest window and the sun will light it up during the day too!
The lamp with the battery cork is approx.31 cm tall and it is approx.8.5 cm in diameter
