Alpaca are members of the same family as camels and llamas, however they are much gentler in nature. Their super-soft fleece is ideal for sensitive skin, even for people who are sensitive to sheep's wool.
Recently they have been brought to the UK, and farmed here successfully. I support these specialist farms by only using British Alpaca yarn rather than imports.

Full description
These beautiful mittens are natural undyed super soft 100% Alpaca yarn, with no added wool, so they are ideal for people with sensitive skin. The colour is a natural oatmeal cream. They are hand-knitted on needles, perfectly plain on palms and backs, ideal for men or women. I have knitted them with a ribbed cuff to slip under your coat to keep the draughts out.
They measure 25cm long including the cuff, 20cm for the hand section, 10cm across the palm. The knit is stretchy enough to fit most average adult hands. The sweet little “Roses Workshop” brand label is laser etched faux leather. Ideal for those days when it’s really cold, and you need your hands fully covered, but still want that touch of luxury.
These mittens will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked services. The postage price shown is for the whole parcel - save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
