A stunning large fiery black opal set in 18ct gold on a silver ring.
This opal triplet has shades blue, green, orange and red flashes, it is a very attractive stone.
I have set the stone simply in 18ct gold on a silver base and ring.
The metal is textured.
The ring table is high enough to stack with slim rings, see pics. (Other ring pictured not included)
The ring has been burnished to a subtle shine.
This ring is a UK size L1/2
The ring shank is 2mm square. The opal measures 9mm x 7mm
Hallmarked at the London assay office.
This ring can be made with other stones, in other sizes to order.
Opal triplets are a thin natural opal slice sandwiched between a dark stone base and a clear crystal dome. This makes a very expensive stone affordable, and also make it stronger as opal is very soft.
