April 2025: Welcome to my shop! There's a mixture of handmade fabric goods - patchwork quilts, bags, table runners and more! All made from high quality fabrics in my smoke-free, pet-free home sewing studio.
My aim was to design and make a comfortable crossbody bag with enough compartments to keep all the essentials for a day out or a trip to town secure and easy to find. This design, Anna Jill, is named after my daughter who is a very organised person. Her favourite colour is purple so I chose the Sally Kelly Fantasy fabric as a nod to her :-)

Comfortable to wear this crossbody bag has many practical features including:
Adjustable strap - can convert to a shoulder bag too.
Outside elasticated pocket designed to fit a mask and hand-gel.
Zippered outside pocket - ideal for keeping essentials secure and easy to find.
All metal hardware with a silver colour finish.
Secure zip closure.
Light coloured lining for ease of finding all your bits and bobs!
Inside there's a row of lightly padded slip pockets ideal for phone, pens and keys.
A water bottle holder - to keep a 500ml drinks bottle upright in the bag.
The outside of the bag is made entirely from quilting weight cotton fabrics. The lining is 100% cotton unbleached calico. Between the outer bag and lining are layers of fine fleece and woven interlining which give the bag structure - it can stand unsupported - whilst keeping it soft and easy to wear.
The bag measures approx. 25cm wide x 25cm tall x 7cm deep (10" x 10" x 3").
With the left over fabrics I've made a reversible facemask with an opening for a filter, a nose-bar and cotton coated ear elastic for comfort.
