Appreciating quiet moments in nature is what my work is all about.

The wild character of the Peak District with its windswept moors, rugged gritstone tors and escarpments provides a much needed space to breathe and reflect for so many people, myself included. My work is inspired by the sketches I make and the photos I take while I'm exploring there, or just gazing into the distance. I often revisit then same locations, trying to capture the changing moods of the landscape whatever the season or weather conditions.

I want you to be able to bring some of the quiet stillness of my art into your home, to remind you of the beauty and tranquility that you find in the Peak District.

Full description

Inspired by the sweet, honey-scented purple heather at Stanage Edge in the Peak District in August, this unique landscape print represents a moment of quiet reflection on the moors, a time to enjoy reconnecting with nature.

This monotype print is made by rolling acrylic paint thinly onto a gel plate, then working directly into the paint. Multiple layers are transferred onto paper to create the final image. A single print is made using this process, making it completely unique.

- Hand printed in acrylic paint onto 190gsm acid-free Kent paper

- Image size approx 6 x 6”

- Paper size A4 (210 x 297mm)

- Made in Sheffield, UK

- Carefully packaged and posted in protective packaging

- Unmounted and unframed (if a frame is shown, this is for illustrative purposes only)

- FREE UK DELIVERY

This one of a kind, hand-pulled print makes a perfect gift for those who love to be reminded of the beauty and tranquility of the Peak District.
