Welcome to my shop. I hope you like the things I make as much as I enjoy making them.
I usually post Second Class with Royal Mail and aim to dispatch the first working day after the order is placed at the latest. I will contact you if it is to be any different.
Where possible, I use recycled packaging both to keep P and P costs down and for environmental reasons.
I like how small remnants of fabric from other projects can be blended to create something new and vibrant. In the making process, there's something organic about how the bowl's shape develops under the sewing machine needle.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This pretty little one-off fabric bowl would be useful for keeping things in, but can also be used as purely a decorative piece. It would make a lovely gift, including for a crafter to store creative bits and pieces.
Made by machine stitching a fabric wrapped coil, the colours of the many materials used blend together to almost create a new fabric; texture is created by the stitching and raw edges. I love making these unique tactile pieces.
Most of the fabrics used are left over from other projects. It's rewarding to make something from that might otherwise have been waste.
The colours and patterns in this particular bowl remind me of the 1930's. (I think it's the splashes of orange! Some vintage fabrics have been used to make it.
Approximately 16cm wide and 6cm tall.
Please see my other bowls for alternative colour ways.
