The pattern for this matinee jacket was in a magazine and I loved the traditional style and pretty embroidery.

Full description
This pretty little matinee jacket is hand knitted in a soft, white baby yarn. It has a lacy eyelet pattern round the full skirt with embroidered flowers in shades of pink within it. The sleeves have a pattern along the length and also have embroidered flowers. The hems and neckline have a picot edging. The yoke is plain and the jacket fastens with five buttons.
The pattern size used is for a 3-6mth old baby. It measures 44cm across the chest, 20cm in length and the sleeves are 11cm.
The yarn is 100% acrylic and can be machine washed at 40 degrees.
