I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I love the wide variety of things you can make using crochet, I knew this chameleon would test my skills (and my eyesight) but really pleased with how it turned out. It's definitely a limited edition item though, as it took many hours to make :)

This cute little chameleon is made using a tiny crochet hook and pastel multicoloured cotton thread. S/he has an embroidered smile and tiny black beads for eyes. Thread is wrapped round strong florists wire to create a curly tail and legs with toes, so s/he is poseable with care.
I have made a stand for the chameleon to pose on, using a small wooden heart base attached to a needle felted wire branch with two pink felt flowers and needle felted leaves.
The chameleon can easily be removed from the stand to perch elsewhere and looks good clinging to a plant or hiding among the leaves in a flower pot.
S/he measures approximately 4 cm from nose to back leg and 5cm tall from toe to tail. The wooden base is approximately 6cm across at its widest point and when perched on top, the top of the chameleon's tail is 8cm from the bottom of the base.
WARNING: This chameleon is a decoration, it is NOT a toy, and should not be given to a child to play with. The materials used may include sharp points and small parts which are a choking hazard.
I recommend surface clean only using a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water to clean.
