Autumn is such a vibrant colourful time of the year. Pumpkins are part of this season and the thought of pumpkin pie makes me want to get into the kitchen and bake one. Hedgerows will always give their own display of hidden fruits and flowers and of course those red topped mushrooms with their distinctive white spots add another bright colour to the mix. This hoop definitely shows off the our beautiful countryside.

Full description
My own design hand embroidered on to linen fabric using DMC embroidery threads and finished off with russet coloured leaves with a length of cotton ribbon at the back which you can tie off to let you tie-off to the exact length for where you hang this gorgeous Autumn Pumpkin Hoop. I've used a lot of French knots to create the pumpkin and then added in other embroidery stitches for the hedgerow wild flowers & brambles, Homespun leaf, barley and of course there had to be a mushroom! Using twine I then hand stitched onto orange cotton fabric and at the top I finished it off with beautiful Autumn leaves which are attached into place, again using French knots. This another of my one-off creations.
