Carreg Cariad is a Welsh translation of stone of love / the love of stone.
Beautiful arrays of ethically sourced natural Gemstones that Mother Nature has created, cultured & freshwater Pearls of all types, made into unique pieces of jewellery headpieces and body adornments with that WoW factor. All of my creations are made in my little workshop studio within my home. As I’m a perfectionist, attention to detail is the absolute key; I put a lot of time, effort and care when creating my pieces which are mostly one of a kind that will guarantee to turn heads or be the talk of the town.
Gorgeous pieces made just for you to enjoy and cherish for years to come.. .
I've been making a few pieces lately with bead embroidery including swans, owls and peacocks and it was crying out to me to make a Kingfisher and this is the result. I'll be adding the other birds to my Folksy shop in due course. I'll be making more bird themed brooches once I've added more products. So watch this space..!

Meet Kingsley the Kingfisher. He's a mighty fine looking bird who is looking for his forever home.
He features a red/orange Onyx cabochon for his belly, his wings have been sequinned to the max because he's just fabulous! Who doesn't love sequins right? His beak is encrusted with micro faceted black Spinel including his eye too. Below his wings is a whole strand of micro faceted Neon Apatite so he will sparkle all over when he flies! (Not really obviously)!
He's 4.5 inches in size and would make an ideal gift for any animal lover or bird watcher.
All componments used are free from nickel and lead.
This will arrive to you in a handmade, branded velvet pouch which is also made by me!
