I was inspired to create this piece whilst at combat stress.
I used it as a form of Art Therapy before realising what Art Therapy really was and how it could help me.
When I look at this painting I see darkness followed by hope.

Full description
A painting of the Punisher skull that was often used by special forces in Afghanistan but originates from the comic book character.
The skull would let the enemy know what type of soldier they were up against and the psychological warfare had already began.
They would create a strong team ethos by wearing the skull on their personal military equipment.
This is a 12 x 16 canvas and is painted with acrylic paint, it 5cm in depth.
This was created by the artist during a hospital stay in a military mental health facility.
