Full description
This is a handmade patchwork quilt.
Made for either the bed or as a throw.
Made in the log style quilting method using a variety of prints of quilting fabric. The centre of each square has a scene of the garden, sheds, pumpkins and scarecrows. Around all the edges of the squares are peas, pumpkins, sunflowers, courgette, pears, artichoke and basil.
The back is made from the scene fabric.
Size approximately 176 cms x 176 cms 69 inches square.
This includes two pillowcases with garden scenes on the and a strip of the pea fabric on one side of each pillowcase.
The wadding is heirloom quality 80% cotton 20% polyester
This quilt has been gently washed on a 30 degree wash using eco cover conditioner. It could withstand a higher wash cycle.
So you can work all day in the garden or allotment and dream about it underneath a garden quilt.
