A unique birthday or ‘thank you’ gift for the book lovers in your life.
This bookmark is a little piece of fibre art in itself. I made the bookmark by piecing strips of cotton fabric and chiffon and using free motion embroidery I drew hedgerows and tall grasses with my sewing machine to create this mini landscape. The bookmark is finished off with satin stitch around the edges.
The bookmark is backed with a marbled cotton fabric and the firm interfacing inside gives it a robust structure.
The bookmark measures 5cm/2” x 17cm/6 1/2”
