Full description

This beautiful fabric is hand-dyed and screen printed in Durban, South Africa. It is dyed in small batches, so each piece of the fabric is unique. It will bring a touch of contemporary and exotic Africa to your home decor and makes a lovely housewarming gift.

It is available as a table lamp shade as shown in the pictures, or as a ceiling pendant light shade - just select your preference in the drop down menu.

It can be made in three diameter sizes: 20cm (Height 18cm), 30cm ( Height 21cm), and 40cm (Height 25cm).

The lampshades are handmade to order, so please allow up to 2 weeks for dispatch.

Due to the handmade, individual nature of the lampshades, the exact placing of the design elements will vary slightly between each shade.

The lampshade frame fits the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder. This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, merely remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.

We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with our lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching the shades. The inside of the lampshade is fire-retardant, anti-yellowing white PVC.

Please note: the lamp base is for illustrative purposes only and not included. Also be aware that due to differences in screens and monitors, the colours you are seeing may differ slightly from those in real life.
