Full description
Pendant of an acorn decorated with a Celtic knotwork design using pyrography (wood burning).
The design was burnt onto the wood using my Antex Fire Writer Pyrography machine.
The pendant is finished with 2 coats of Danish oil, which protects the wood without making it too shiny or discoloured.
The pendant has been finished with an antique bronze chain with a lobster clasp.
Dimensions:
Acorn is approx 8cm (3in) long and approx 5cm (2in) wide
Chain on its own - approx 48cm (19in)
The wood will naturally age over time, but as with most wooden jewellery it is best to try and keep it dry and in a dark, cool place when not being worn.
