I have developed a love of Japanese fabrics, and pouches, and this combines both. Pouches come in handy for so many every day uses, and life's too short not to have a stylish one!

Full description
This classy zipped pouch is made from Essex linen and Japanese fabric. The turquoise fabric is Edo Komon Seigaiha, meaning small waves. The arcs of the waves have been created with small beige dots which complements the camel coloured Essex linen. A slightly darker turquoise cotton fabric has been used for the lining and the zip is gold in colour. The binding around the top of the pouch has been hand sewn.
The pouch could be used as a cosmetic bag, make up bag, pencil case, or storage for all those bits and bobs.

The zip used is a quality YKK zip. Interfacing has been used on the outer fabric to give the pouch structure.
The pouch measures
15cm (at the base) x 11cm tall x 5cm deep. The top of the pouch measures 18cm internally or
6" (at the base) x 4 1/2" tall x 2" deep. The top of the pouch measures 7 1/2" internally.
The extended zip enables the pouch to fully open.
