All items are hand-made using traditional pottery techniques at my home studio in Letchworth Garden City.
Looking for a Gift ? I can post direct to the recipient and include a message from you - just leave a 'note to seller' when purchasing. I will usually dispatch items within 24hrs and send you an email with the receipt and tracking number. All items will be wrapped in paper, under lots of protective packaging, and sent by Royal Mail TRACKED48.
I can thank my friend Cathy for inspiring me on this one. 'You must make bees!' she said. But I was a bit nervous about making all those fragile little legs and got more interested in the traditional beehive shape instead. So as a compromise I put a little stripy bee inside the lid, and it became a honeypot.
I glaze them with a mix of 'topaz' and transparent glazes, which runs beautifully into the ribs on the outside. The final colour depends on the location in the kiln and how hot it gets.

A handmade honey pot shaped like a traditional beehive or skep. Where the bees go in and out there is hole which means you can leave the spoon in the pot. Lift the lid and you'll find a little bee inside.
SLIGHT SECOND - Very small crack inside the top of the lid, Lid is a little wobbly.
10cm diameter at the base, 12cm tall.
