Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

Full description
This is an original hand pressed reduction linocut print of yellow Flag Iris which I have pressed by hand at home using the back of a spoon.
This is print number 2 in an edition of 8. I have also created a second small edition of 3 from the same plate. There are 11 original prints in total from this plate.
This print was created in 11 pressings. The materials are Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Daler-Rowney Fine Grain Drawing Paper (200gsm).
The print measures approx. 4 inches x 8 inches. and the paper has been hand cut to approx. 7.7 inches x 11.6 inches (just slightly smaller than A4). It is portrait orientation.
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will send the print out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. I charge full postage for the highest priced item, then 20p for each other item mailed within the same envelope.
