I've been watching the TV coverage of the fantastic Chelsea Flower Show with all the wonderful blooms on display and was inspired to produce my own exotic floral creation.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new design for summer 2018 inspired by the gorgeous floral displays at the Chelsea Flower Show.
I've made a vibrantly coloured flower in shades of red and amber and yellow and infilled the picture with the other colours of the rainbow.
The centre of the flower is a rather gorgeous dichroic glass nugget fused in my kiln and I've framed my flower with prettily textured clear glass with green corners to the frame to complete the colour spectrum.
This is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts really lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window. A very special suncatcher to brighten your room and your life.
It is 16cm square diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
